I’m cranky today
There I said it. God what a relief. Just to not put on the smiling face and answer the “how are you doing today” question with the normal answer of “fine”.

Mike and I decided to take a night away and stay at a hotel, which was a fun in-town getaway.
Mike and I decided to try a new restaurant down in Pacific Beach last Friday night, called Mamma Mia’s. The SD Tribune raved about it, and since it was owned and being run by actual Italians, I was very excited.
We called ahead and made a reservation, just to be safe, because the article mentioned long [...]
I should be studying or doing the filing that I’ve been putting off for weeks, but it’s so hot today I don’t feel like doing anything constructive.

Cream, milk, sugar, lemon zest, gelatin [...]
Sunday Mike and I headed to the Hillcrest Farmer’s Market to continue my search for the perfect tomato.
Because of course, I’m going to win the lottery before then. (Note to self - must actually buy lottery ticket to win the lottery!)
Anyway, October 13-21st in Perugia, Italy - a chocolate festival. Actually, probably THE chocolate festival.
I would post the website, but it’s all in Italian. Here’s an excerpt from Carolyn’s Italian journal blog that [...]
