Hands off ladies, he’s mine
Mike and I were laying in bed the other night and he looks over at me sweetly and says “bella”. Very nice, calling me beautiful and in Italian, no less. Mike knows a few Italian and Spanish words and usually uses them interchangeably and inappropriately, so this was charming.
Still looking at me very lovingly, “Immobiliare” [...]
Overheard in our house
I was sitting on the couch two nights ago, watching “Age of Innocence.” Mike walks into the room and rolls his eyes, as he does when I’m watching anything with an accent or subtitles, stands watching the TV for a few moments and says,
“I really like Jeremy Irons. He’s really good in every role he does.”
Silence.
